A friendly playmaker, located in the entrance area, will welcome children and spectators into the experience. They will begin setting the stage for open- ended exploration. Of course, they’re always on hand should anyone need any sparks of imagination or words of encouragement!
Playmakers should listen to the guests own creativity first. If the guest seems unsure and would like some inspiration, they can guide them to the gallery wall or library to take a look at inspiration playcards based on themes and stories.
Playmakers will then encourage guests to build their creations at the central tables. Playmakers will always be on hand to provide tips and guidance while allowing flexible and self-led creativity. Playmakers may circulate playcards as inspiration to those who are struggling.
Playmakers congratulate guests on their work and encourage them to showcase their work at the Imagination Gallery. They are also reminded to take photos of their creations and that they can pick them up after exploring the Fun Factory.
As guests leave, Playmakers remind guests they can take home their creation(s).
Creations are transferred into a branded take-home box.
Note: additional take-home rewards such as playcards could be given as a memento or as a trading game with friends.
